High Torque Motor AC DC Synchronous Reluctance Motor Electric Motor
Overview:
Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SyRM) is a new type of AC motor which follows the principle of minimum path closure of reluctance and drives the motor to rotate by magnetic tension (i.e. reluctance torque) generated by the reluctance change caused by the rotor at different positions. It has the advantages of simple structure, robustness and durability, high efficiency, wide speed regulation range and low cost.
Operating principle
Synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM) is essentially a synchronous motor with reluctance properties, its operating principle is similar to switched reluctance motor, and has a fundamental difference with traditional AC, DC motor, it does not rely on the fixed rotor magnetic field interaction to form torque, but follows the principle of magnetic flux is always closed along the minimum path of reluctance. The magnetic tension generated by the magnetoresistive changes caused by the rotor at different positions forms a torque, which is called magnetoresistive torque. Unlike the stator switch rotating field of the switched reluctance motor, the stator field of SynRM is a sine wave rotating field. SvnRM stator generally adopts the traditional three-phase AC motor stator structure, but its rotor structure is relatively special, and there are many slots on the rotor. The special rotor structure achieves a large reluctance difference between the SynRM alternating and direct axis magnetic circuits, presenting a strong convex polarity, resulting in a magnetoresistive drive torque.
