Overview:
The Online Crude Oil Water Content Analyzer is a multifunctional, high precision, stable, and real-time online instrument for measuring the water content, temperature, and pressure of crude oil. Through structural and circuit optimization designs, it avoids the impact of mineralization degree, minimizes the effect of gas, and improves the online measurement accuracy of water content. It enables accurate online detection of water content, temperature, and pressure at the wellhead of oil wells, reduces crude oil production costs, decreases labor intensity of workers, enhances efficiency of oilfield production management, and upgrades the digital management level of oilfields.
The Online Crude Oil Water Content Analyzer is an integrated tester for crude oil water content, pressure, and temperature. It mainly operates on the principle of array capacitance detection. The innovative design of the capacitor array sensor is placed in the oil-water mixture. By analyzing and measuring the changes in its capacitance characteristics, it can reconstruct the pipeline flow pattern and fluid condition of crude oil, thus achieving online detection of water content. It can be applied to a variety of scenarios such as single well production, group production, offsite transportation, unloading platform fluids, three-phase separators, and metering devices.
Technical Features:
- Unaffected by Mineralization: Capacitive water content detection is currently the only method that is not affected by mineralization. The detection environment does not generate an alternating electromagnetic field, so the concentration of salt ions does not affect water content detection.
- Unaffected by Waxing: The internal structure of the meter is treated with an oil-repellent and water-repellent coating. The built-in heating of the capacitor array sensor can control the surface temperature of the sensor at around 70 degrees Celsius, which can effectively prevent inaccuracies in water content measurement caused by waxing.
- Minimal Impact from Gas: The unique design of the capacitor array sensor allows for the placement of multiple sets of electrodes (multiple probes) inside the pipeline. This setup effectively identifies pipeline flow patterns and flow conditions, and accurately calculates the water content in crude oil.
